Hallo,

I will do in it in english now, then I can explain it better.

I want the following:

My compo has to to play from 70 hz and higher, above the HPF it is run on the passive filter, so

Compo: HPF 70 hz no LPF

Kick must be in bandpass active

Kicks: HPF 70 Hz LPF about 200 HZ

This means I only need 2 channels from the X1
Is this possible with the X1?
Or what can it do what come's close?

I can buy a complete system, P1-X1-T1-C1 with all cables and manuals, so I wass interested if this is an option

Second option I have is:

Run the compo active, and the kicks on an other amp.

This will mean that i must have

Tweet: LPF from 2000 hz or higher
Front kick: HPF of 50 - 70 and LPF of 2000 or higher,
Rear kick: HPF 50 - 70 and LPF round 200 hz

I like the Old Sony stuff, so it will be fine to have it in the car, if it will match my filter needs :D

I didn't find any information in the manual, concerning the crossover-frequencies and their range.

Tonight i might test them out for the 4-way configuration that i use.
3-way settings differ from that.

I think i have an old magazine where i can have a look at, but it will take some time to find it.

In general, i don't think that you can configure it the way you like.

Compo: HPF 70 hz no LPF *** not possible, always a bandpass (from 78Hz to about 500Hz)

Kick must be in bandpass active
Kicks: HPF 70 Hz LPF about 200 HZ *** not possible, see above!

As i see it, you want a 3-way configuration where the crossover points are somewhat different.

But it is impossible to overlap the frequency range of the different bands.

In my configuration i use the subwoofer-band up to 78Hz.

My kickbasses range from 78Hz to ~500Hz.

Mids are from 500Hz to 5kHz.

Tweeters range from 5kHz to their limit.

Hello Fred,

On internet the X1 manual is availble, but I look to it as well, but also couldn't find if it is possible.
What I couldn't find wass if the crossovers could be set to OFF.

I mean with the most units if you set the slope to 0 you get a pass on the frequency.

Do you now if that is possible?
Or is it a fixed slop of 70db, and you can't change it to something else?

Slopes are fixed to 70db/Octave (by means of FIR filters).

They can't be turned off, sorry.

Okay, unfortunatly I know enough then

Then I cannot use it.

Thanks Fred for the information
