Question,

I'm searching for a different compo in my car.

must be 3-way with a midrange of max. 10 cm and a tweet with max 5 cm outer diameter.

I'm curious about the combination of MP7's with audison amps. Here in Holland the combination of MP and Genesis is favorite, but I wass wondering if any-one has tried it with audison's.

HU is going to be an C90R woth XDP4000x
amps will be HR100, HRV Trenta, HV Trenta

Other suggestions are also welcome.

A friend of me is actually using the Audison Lrx with the Series 5 Compo. Which sound absolutly great imho.
The next days I am going to test the Series 5 Ringradiator-Tweeter with my VRX. Will give you the feedback...

Regards JP

I'd rather stick with one brand in the compo, so not versatile's brands.
The only thing I like from AD is the MM, i still know a new 2-way set for 500 euro, but then I have to find the MM4 with it, but I don't know how they sound.

I have several things in mind:

Dynaudio MD100/MD140/MW170 (mw170 i still have)
Scan speak 2904-6000/mid/kick form scan
MP MP7 tweet/mp5.8 mid/ mp7 kick
Exact or vifa XT/mid/kick

Hi,
why you want the chippy "Mainstream" -Speakers???

If you want Specials than i will say, get 2 Pair Audio Development W600(www.audiodevelopment.it), one Pair µDimension ProXT2(www.chpw.de), if you want a midspeaker you can take a pair of Fostex FE107e(http://www.lautsprechershop.de/), that is not a Lot of money, but a lot of sound and fun!!!
Kind regards

Hi, I used to run a 3-way AD MM set off the good old VR amps. The MM4's are IMO one of the best sounding mids and I actually still regret i sold them :wall: . It has a rich yet detailed sound. and is easy to fit due to the compact design.

As for MP and audison i haven't heard them in combination, but I recon it's not that far from using Genesis amps. Personally i wouldn't choose MP's, but thats just my taste :D
